Situado a caballo entre la comarca del Vinalopó y L’Alcoiá, Cañada es una alargada población de casas blancas arremolinadas en torno a un cerro en el que se levanta el Santuario de la Virgen del Carmen.
how to arrive
From Alicante. Take the A-31 towards Valencia, Murcia and Madrid. After 57 kilometers, take the exit CV-81, Ontinyent, Villena and Conservation Center. At the roundabout, take the first exit to continue on the CV-81 in direction Ontinyent and CV-40 Valencia. In this trajectory one enters the center of Cañada directly.
From Valencia. Go on the V-31 and take the exit towards A-7 Alicante- Albacete. Continue on the V-31 and continue for a thousand meters to take the A-7 for 44 kilometers, take the A-35 and take the exit 11 (N-334, La Font de la Figuera, Alicante-Alacant, Murcia). Continue on the N-344 through Font de la Figuera and, at the roundabout, take exit 2 on the A-31 towards Villena-Alicante. Continue on this road until the exit towards Yecla, Caudete, Villena, Ontinyent. Twelve kilometers later, take the exit 4 in direction CV-81 Villena to cross all this municipality and in the roundabout avenue of Juan XXIII take the exit 4 in direction CV-81, CV-8090, avenue of Juan XXIII. If we continue on the CV-81, we reach Cañada directly.
